Tell us a bit about yourself.
Although I was born in the States, I lived more than ten years in South Korea! I love talking about Korean food/culture to my friends. I also enjoy playing pickup soccer during my free time.
What is your academic background? What research experience did you have before grad school?
I majored in Mathematics-Statistics at Columbia with a concentration in Chemistry. During undergraduate years, I mainly studied the morphology of breast cancer cells using a biophysical simulation called the Cellular Potts Model.
